Strategic Asset Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lifecycle Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the Lifecycle ('LC') component of various facilities within our portfolio.
This position is essential for balancing the operational risks associated with asset renewal while maximizing returns and ensuring reserves for future needs.
Lifecycle management encompasses regular funding for both Lifecycle Maintenance (non-annual maintenance elements) and the renewal and replacement of facility assets.
This aligns closely with capital planning, as Johnson Controls manages the Lifecycle funds, including any unutilized funds.You will oversee LC on a portfolio basis as a distinct profit and loss entity, collaboratively managed by site teams and the LC division in line with established Lifecycle Management protocols.
The consolidated LC plan reflects significant revenue potential.As a subject matter expert, you will provide operational staff with guidance on lifecycle execution and planning for individual or groups of facilities, ensuring a balance between risk management and fund conservation.
Leadership & Expertise:
Guide the LC team and act as a primary resource for operational sites.
Strategic Oversight:
Establish direction and ensure uniform management across the LC portfolio. Collaborate with operations and senior leadership on strategic LC business management.
Project Management:
Ensure alignment of LC delivery and project funding approvals with company processes, effectively balancing asset renewal to mitigate risks in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Maintain proactive engagement with sites to comprehend business requirements and relay these to management.
Budget Oversight:
Evaluate and recommend fund allocations for LC projects, assisting in the development of project budgets.
Performance Tracking:
Establish and monitor performance metrics, analyze lifecycle fiscal performance against long-term plans, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Issue Resolution:
Address conflicts and maintain open communication with site teams regarding LC issues, providing regular updates.
Technical Support:
Deliver technical guidance to operational staff, manage complex lifecycle challenges, and direct LC initiatives utilizing all available resources.
Compliance:
Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with established standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or relevant operational experience.
Experience:
A minimum of three years in facility management or project delivery, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity involving management, budgeting, vendor relations, and operations.
Skills:
Proven leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage data effectively and train junior personnel.
