Lifecycle Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lifecycle Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the Lifecycle ('LC') component of various facilities.
This position aims to strike a balance between the operational risks associated with asset renewal and the potential for returns while ensuring reserves for future needs.
Lifecycle management entails regular financial commitments that cover both Lifecycle Maintenance (non-annual maintenance aspects) and the renewal and replacement of facility assets.
This is similar to capital project management, with Johnson Controls overseeing and managing the Lifecycle funds, retaining any unutilized funds.You will manage LC on a portfolio basis as a distinct profit and loss entity, collaboratively administered by the sites and the LC team in line with Lifecycle Management protocols.
As a subject matter expert, you will offer guidance and direction to operational staff regarding lifecycle delivery and planning for individual or groups of facilities, balancing risk mitigation and fund preservation.
Leadership & Expertise:
Provide direction to the LC team and act as a central point of expertise for operational sites.
Strategic Oversight:
Establish direction and ensure consistent management across the LC portfolio. Collaborate with operations and senior leadership on strategic management of the LC business.
Project Management:
Ensure that LC delivery and project funding approvals align with company processes, balancing asset renewal to mitigate risks effectively and timely, while meeting financial expectations.
Stakeholder Relations:
Maintain proactive relationships with sites to understand business needs and communicate these to management.
Budget Oversight:
Review and recommend fund releases for LC projects, assisting in the development of LC project budgets.
Performance Tracking:
Establish and monitor performance metrics, analyze and report lifecycle fiscal performance against agreed-upon plans, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Conflict Resolution:
Address issues and conflicts, maintain open communication with site teams regarding LC matters, and provide regular updates.
Technical Support:
Provide technical expertise and guidance to operational staff, manage complex LC challenges, and direct LC activities utilizing all available resources.
Policy Adherence:
Comply with company policies and procedures, uphold company standards, and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or relevant operational experience.
Experience:
Three years of facility management or project delivery experience, with two years in a supervisory role involving management, budgeting, vendor management, operations, and maintenance.
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership abilities, organizational skills, and effective communication. Capability to manage data for information provision, train entry-level personnel, and engage with customers at all levels.
Team Orientation:
