Role Description:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will be part of a dynamic team within Global Information Security (GIS). Our Cyber Security Technology (CST) team is globally distributed, focusing on cyber security innovation, architecture, engineering, and capability development.

This role is crucial in shaping and implementing the bank's hybrid and multi-cloud strategy. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about cloud technologies and eager to leverage them to address complex business challenges.

In this position, you will have a substantial influence on designing secure, next-generation cloud services and exploring a wide array of innovative technologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, and deliver secure cloud solutions.
  • Create and utilize secure cloud architectural patterns to align with business needs.
  • Oversee the solution design delivery, ensuring compliance with security requirements and policies.
  • Collaborate with various business units and IT support functions.
  • Act as a technical resource throughout the Systems Development Lifecycle.
  • Stay informed on cloud technology advancements and maintain product design documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud design standards and operational practices.
  • Participate in defining best practices for cloud engineering and governance.
  • Support the selection and implementation of new cloud services.
  • Engage in architecture review discussions and develop architectural artifacts.
  • Partner with Information Security teams to integrate security into cloud platforms.
  • Communicate challenges and risks effectively with stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with expertise in:

  • DevOps and GitOps methodologies, including infra-as-code and policy-as-code.
  • Private and Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Web protocols, operating systems, and cloud APIs.
  • Container technologies and CI/CD tools.
  • Automation tools and programming languages.

Enterprise Role Overview:

This role involves defining an architectural vision aligned with enterprise strategy and technology choices. Responsibilities include evaluating system impacts, determining system interfaces, and assisting with comprehensive solution design.

Job expectations encompass defining non-functional requirements and ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs.
