Role Summary:

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team within Global Information Security (GIS). Cyber Security Technology (CST). This globally distributed team is at the forefront of cyber security innovation, architecture, engineering, and solutions development.

In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the hybrid and multi-cloud strategy of the bank, leveraging your passion for cloud technologies to address complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement secure cloud solutions.
  • Create and utilize secure cloud architectural patterns that align with business needs.
  • Oversee the entire solution design delivery process, ensuring alignment with security policies.
  • Collaborate with various business lines and IT support functions.
  • Act as a technical resource throughout the Systems Development Lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on cloud technology advancements and service offerings.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of product designs and oversee hybrid cloud architecture.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud design standards and operational practices.
  • Participate in the Cloud Center of Excellence to establish best practices in cloud engineering and governance.
  • Assist in selecting new cloud services and tools to support the cloud roadmap.
  • Lead discussions in architecture review boards and influence architectural decisions.
  • Maintain design blueprints and reference architectures for cloud products.
  • Collaborate with Information Security teams to ensure secure application patterns.
  • Address complex application challenges and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding potential issues and risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in DevOps and GitOps methodologies, including infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with private and public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of web protocols and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud orchestration tools and container technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-native monitoring and operations tools.
  • Proficient in automation tools and programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and IAM services.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native services and Kubernetes implementations.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
