Opportunity:

As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate within an Agile team to develop healthcare applications and integrate new functionalities while adhering to the highest coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, manage, and sustain cloud-based systems.
  • Profile candidates with hands-on experience in either GCP with Angular or GCP with .NET.
  • Assist in the design and migration of existing applications to GCP.
  • Plan, provision, deploy, and maintain a cloud solution environment.
  • Monitor security, performance, and costs proactively, responding to alerts and collaborating with development and service delivery teams to resolve issues.
  • Support cloud deployments, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime for users.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and monitoring to secure cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet application and infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Apply knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and document specific architectural elements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the cloud to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes.
  • Deploy, implement, and configure cloud environments following best practices and security guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest GCP offerings and provide recommendations to leadership.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years in relevant roles.

Educational Background:

  • Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
  • Technical certifications in multiple technologies are advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in GCP Cloud; AWS and Azure experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of cloud administration and management of GCP.
  • Experience in migrating on-premises applications to the cloud.
  • 3+ years of collaboration with application development, maintenance, and build/release management teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, and automated pipelines.
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform.
  • 3+ years of working with Source Code Management (SCM) and CI/CD platforms (e.g., Git, GitLab, Jenkins).
  • 3+ years of proficiency in containerization tools, with a solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years of experience in virtual networks and general network management functions.
  • 3+ years of driving key architectural and design decisions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least two programming or scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, Ruby).
  • 3+ years of cloud database management skills and knowledge of various GCP database offerings.
  • 5+ years of experience in application SDLC, build, and deployment.
  • Understanding of the six pillars of a well-architected framework.
  • Experience with GCP technologies such as GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Load Balancing, Cloud Functions, and more.
  • Ability to inspire confidence in peers and colleagues through high-quality service delivery.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.

Desirable Skills:

  • Cloud certifications in Cloud Engineer and Cloud Architect.
  • Application development experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Java.
