Department Overview:

Position Summary:
The HR Associate will report directly to the HR Manager and collaborate closely with leadership across various departments. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient HR operations within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. HR Operations Support (40%):
    Manage the creation of job positions and requisitions. Facilitate the hiring process for student assistants and assist in onboarding new employees. Support offboarding procedures and prepare workstations for new hires. Contribute to process improvements and maintain the organizational chart.
  2. Workday Systems Management (20%):
    Collaborate with the HR Manager to review and update job descriptions. Ensure the closure of outdated job descriptions and modify existing ones to reflect current roles.
  3. Records Management (15%):
    Organize and maintain the electronic filing system for personnel records. Update HR checklists and create new employee files, ensuring compliance with record retention policies.
  4. Communication (15%):
    Assist staff with HR inquiries and coordinate onboarding communications for new hires. Maintain ongoing communication with new employees to facilitate a smooth transition.
  5. Additional Duties (10%):
    Provide support to the Central Admin-Program Operations team and assist in tracking annual staff reviews and promotions.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a High School diploma or GED and have two years of office experience, including at least six months in a human resources setting. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment:
This role requires adaptability and professionalism in a clinical and research setting. Flexibility to manage multiple tasks is essential.
