Position Title:

Account Executive (HVAC Sales)

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role will report to the Service Sales Manager and will focus on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing maintenance proposals, presenting service offerings, and nurturing client relationships to ensure optimal satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential client opportunities within designated markets through various outreach methods, including phone calls, in-person visits, and networking events.
  • Manage and analyze leads to implement solution-oriented strategies that drive sales growth, particularly in the Planned Maintenance sector.
  • Collaborate with the internal construction team to uncover and develop new business opportunities.
  • Assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with EMCOR's service offerings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to clients and prospective customers.
  • Prepare and review client proposals, ensuring alignment with EMCOR's standards and pricing models.
  • Achieve defined sales targets while maintaining profitability and market share.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Consistently build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing and nurturing these relationships.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time independently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC Commercial Service Industry.
  • At least 5 years of proven sales or technical experience.
  • Integrity, honesty, and accountability are essential qualities for all candidates.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated aptitude for sales.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy in challenging situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include the ability to sit, see, talk, and hear regularly. Employees will use hands to handle tools and equipment, walk, and reach with arms. Regular mobility within office and field environments is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:
