Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional service to customers at the sales counter by accurately processing orders in the system, prioritizing regular clients.
- Utilize both electronic and printed catalogs to deliver product details, pricing, and availability to customers.
- Adhere to company pricing and credit policies.
- Address and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Efficiently retrieve orders from the warehouse.
- Boost sales and average order value through cross-selling, up-selling, and promoting new and discounted items.
- Manage customer complaints and returns with a positive demeanor.
- Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of merchandising and counter areas.
- Ensure counter inventory is well-stocked; adjust inventory to encourage impulse purchases and remove outdated items.
- Assist in regular physical inventory checks.
- Drive sales initiatives through outbound calls as directed by management.
- Engage in company-sponsored sales promotions.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer service challenges swiftly.
- Utilize order entry systems and technology effectively.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
- Attend product training sessions as required.
- Prepare, pack, and organize orders for delivery and pickup.
- Maintain awareness of order status at all times.
- Follow specific instructions related to orders as needed.
- Receive and log shipments into inventory, conducting audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Report any quality or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, sales staff, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with certification requirements and conducting vehicle safety checks.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility.
- Attend product knowledge meetings as mandated by management.
- Present a professional and tidy appearance.
- Assist in securing the facility.
- Maintain proficiency in required computerized systems and technologies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures consistently.


Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience in HVAC is essential.

- Starting at $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
