About the Role

G&A Partners is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Member Growth Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting strategies to increase new and returning girl and adult membership in assigned geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Membership Growth Strategy: Assist in achieving the council's corporate goals for girl and adult membership through implementing membership recruitment strategies in assigned areas.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Assist in designing and implementing a comprehensive plan for girl and adult membership growth in targeted areas by researching market data, membership trends, and other pertinent information relevant to designated geographic areas.
  • Community Engagement: Implement membership recruitment strategies outlined in the council's strategic plan, annual business plan, and/or other council goals, including cultivation and organization of communities to result in increased girl and volunteer leads.
  • Lead Management: Execute action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made to meet membership goal. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Utilize customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to support pursuance of leads throughout the recruitment process through to completion to conversion status.
  • Community Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with appropriate community leaders, organizations, educators, and businesses to support recruitment efforts within targeted areas to increase awareness of and participation in Girl Scouting and positively impact membership growth.
  • Lead Follow-up: Follow up on new leads and referrals in a timely fashion.
  • Event Representation: Represent Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas at local events, fairs, and festivals.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the council's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Position will be out of the office at least 60% of the time working in the assigned geographic area; scheduled evening and weekend work, daily schedule has flexibility.
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Skills: Must be proficient with computer and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Word). Proficient in database management and reporting. Experience with Canva preferred.
