Position Summary

We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our commercial team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, this role is essential to the Sales & Revenue Operations team. The analyst will deliver high-impact support through detailed data analysis and insights, addressing various data needs and requests. This position requires a deep understanding of the enterprise's data architecture for Sales & Revenue Operations, enabling effective data extraction and compilation for informed decision-making. Collaboration with sales and revenue operations leadership is crucial to streamline data collection processes and provide insightful analysis to enhance decision-making.

Success in this role hinges on proactive engagement with multiple departments and levels within the organization. Strong communication skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities, are essential. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to identify key issues, transform data into actionable insights, prioritize requests, and influence process improvements that drive business results. A commitment to data integrity, sales excellence, and process adherence is vital, along with a positive attitude and confidence to effect change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics Mastery: Manage data requests from various stakeholders, creating simplified reports and dashboards for executive and management teams, including complex data sets that require careful merging and mapping.
  • Data Modeling and Visualization: Develop, refine, and present data models to assist management in exploring potential sales structures and territory adjustments to foster growth.
  • Insight Generation: Produce and present data models that guide strategic business decisions, interpreting data with precision to support rationale.
  • Create visual reports and dashboards from diverse data sources, effectively communicating complex information to varied audiences.
  • Enhance existing reporting and develop new analytics across the technical stack to deliver insights to executives and management.
  • Evaluate sales performance against goals and KPIs, identifying weaknesses and gaps to bolster operational support and sales outcomes.
  • Assist in the development of sales incentive plans and quota strategies by analyzing the implications of proposed changes and advising leadership accordingly.
  • Build tools and models to enhance data quality in Salesforce, Power BI, and other systems as needed.
  • Analyze and report on sales trends, issues, and forecasts to support organizational strategies.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting for the Commercial team, including executive summaries of sales results and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Identify metrics that enhance business performance and analytics.
  • Develop and manage performance dashboards in Salesforce and related tools, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Make informed decisions based on thorough analysis, translating findings into clear communications and presentations.
  • Proactively resolve issues within Revenue Operations systems and processes, ensuring sustainability and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and optimize reporting processes.
  • Support the optimization of sales tools, driving best practices in data utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Sales/Revenue operations with a focus on analytics.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
  • Expertise in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
  • Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivated.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong sense of accountability.
