Culinary Operations Manager

The Chef de Cuisine at Won't Stop Operations plays a pivotal role in maintaining the standards of our culinary offerings. Reporting directly to the General Manager and the Executive Culinary Team, this position oversees all back-of-house personnel at the designated location.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Chef de Cuisine is accountable for three primary areas:
- Implementing the culinary vision as outlined by the Executive Culinary Team.
- Leading and nurturing staff by adhering to company guidelines to support the mission and objectives.
- Ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and integrity of the kitchen, food preparation, and storage areas.
This role requires coaching and training staff to enhance the perception of Won't Stop Operations as a leader in the culinary market.
Supervisory Duties- Modeling and ensuring adherence to all company policies.
- Managing the daily workflow of subordinate staff.
- Providing input on hiring, training, and performance evaluations for back-of-house staff.
- Assisting with employment actions in accordance with company policies.
- Communicating issues to the General Manager promptly to ensure compliance with legal and procedural standards.
- Communicating and ensuring understanding of company-wide initiatives among staff and customers.
- Collaborating with the General Manager to uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assisting with inventory management to ensure ethical resource use.
- Addressing staff concerns through established reporting systems.
- Maintaining compliance with all necessary certifications and licenses.
- Upholding high standards of quality in daily operations while safeguarding company assets.
- Ensuring timely maintenance and repairs of the restaurant.
- Holding staff accountable for operational standards and procedures.
- Implementing proper food storage and handling practices.
- Conducting ongoing training for staff.
- Following allergy procedures diligently.
- Performing additional related duties as assigned.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety and restaurant guidelines.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Mastery of point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to inspire teamwork and enthusiasm among staff.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience, with management experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- ServSafe Certification is required.
