Job Title: Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at HighCloud Solutions. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing trauma and injury data for the Division of Trauma and Injury Prevention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, reporting descriptive statistics, and dataset curation.
  • Develop and implement data visualization strategies to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with trauma stakeholders to identify best practices in data analysis and effective data reporting.
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.
  • Provide operational support for the database, ensuring data integrity and database availability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Data Analysis/Management, Statistics, Public Health (Epidemiology/Biostatistics), or related field.
  • Experience working with SAS, R, Python, or other statistical software, including data cleaning, descriptive statistics, and full analyses.
  • Working knowledge of epidemiological methods, study design, and analysis, with an understanding of both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with significant process and people skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to teach others how to submit data to a registry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Health Data Analysis/Management, Statistics, Public Health (Epidemiology/Biostatistics), or related field.
  • Experience with data visualization in Tableau.
  • Working knowledge of data linkage techniques.
  • Knowledge of database administration and/or system software, such as communication, storage management, operating systems, or capacity planning.
