The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for executing sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position 3M as a strategic supplier at key assigned customers. You'll work closely with our Global Account Manager and Global team to identify solutions to address customer challenges, manage/close respective projects, cultivate new growth opportunities, and build sustainable pipeline via a CRM system (Salesforce).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and establish strong cooperative relationships with all levels of the customers' organization and departments.
  • Work closely with Business Portfolio Managers on competitive analysis, market intelligence, and pricing negotiations.
  • Identify solutions to address customer challenges and manage/close respective projects.
  • Cultivate new growth opportunities and build sustainable pipeline via a CRM system (Salesforce).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of Automotive Sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering. Bachelor's degree in business or manufacturing will also be considered.
  • Five (5) years of sales or program management experience with Tier 1s and OEMs in the Automotive market.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving Skills.
  • Proven track record of winning designs and supporting multi-national customer.
  • Superb attention to detail, analytical capacity, and both written and verbal communication.
  • Experience using Salesforce and other software for sales support.

Work Location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Livonia, MI at least 2 day per week)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $110,762 - $135,375, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
