Job Title: Staff Technical Marketing Engineer

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is a leading provider of integrated power semiconductors and systems power delivery architectures. We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • This position is responsible for supporting and developing analog IC and module products for USB charging, wireless charging, and PoE products.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing, as well as a strong understanding of Buck, Boost, Buck-boost, flyback, and forward converter topology.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to develop system designs using existing products or to create new products.
  • Collaborate with TMEs and IC designers to develop, evaluate, and debug new products.
  • Provide application support and technical training to key customers and field application engineers.
  • Write datasheets, application notes, and design notes.
  • Survey and monitor new market requirements and track key customer project status.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.
  • Familiarity with USB-PD, WPT Qi, and IEEE 802.3 standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
