About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our RDI New Product Development Team within the Andersen Division. As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for providing design engineering expertise for product development projects, contributing to the product design, testing, and development for projects and initiatives related to Andersen Division product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new product capabilities, features, and options, while ensuring cost, quality, and performance enhancements of product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, external customers, manufacturing, marketing, finance, sales, service, packaging engineering, materials engineering, and code and regulatory affairs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, technical presentations, and PLM systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of lean, manufacturing, business, and quality systems.

Requirements:

  • BS Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong design experience and understanding of relevant methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks and effectively perform work to completion.
