Job Title: Engineering Technician

At PSI Repair Services, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting engineering activities by assisting in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of various systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on technical support in the assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of engineering systems and components.
  • Conduct tests and experiments, collect and analyze data, and assist in the evaluation of prototypes and products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of tests, procedures, and outcomes. Generate technical reports and contribute to the documentation of engineering processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment and tools to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to contribute insights and suggestions for the improvement of designs, processes, and project outcomes.
  • Participate in the fabrication and assembly of prototypes, assisting in the refinement of designs based on testing and feedback.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in engineering technology, electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience with engineering tools, equipment, and testing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of CAD software for basic design work.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Experience in the assembly and testing of electronic components.
