Job Overview

Salary:
Educology Solutions is in search of a Senior ETL Application Architect who will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing processes that convert data from diverse origins to designated targets, while effectively communicating insights to relevant stakeholders, clients, and partners. This position requires the escalation of concerns to management, identification of best practices, and the provision of recommendations for enhancing existing methodologies. The role also includes mentoring junior developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Core Duties and Responsibilities (Listed in order of significance)

o Address complex ETL-related technical challenges, recognize potential problems, resolve issues, and ensure tasks are completed successfully and promptly.

o Comprehend and advocate for established processes and procedures among all project participants, both within and outside the ETL team.

o Provide guidance to team members in areas of expertise, ETL processes, and standards, while actively participating in code evaluations.

o Notify management of project-related issues; escalate concerns in a timely manner and seek assistance when necessary.

o Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritizing ETL tasks to guarantee timely completion.

o Design, test, oversee, and implement ETL packages and applications in accordance with team standards.

o Innovatively resolve complex challenges.

o Optimize and troubleshoot ETL applications.

o Conduct standard ETL administrative tasks, including deployment, package migration, and metadata management.

o Prepare ETL packages for deployment across development, testing, and production environments, adhering to all Release Management protocols.

o Automate processes wherever feasible.

o Participate in the on-call rotation as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

o Strong analytical skills in a SQL environment utilizing T-SQL.

o Proficient in ETL design and development using the Microsoft BI toolset, particularly SSIS and T-SQL.

o Comprehensive database knowledge with the ability to query intricate data sets.

o Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

o Commitment to adhering to policies and values.

o Consistent attendance to support the necessary quality and quantity of work.

o Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

o Ability to cultivate and sustain positive and effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, members, providers, and customers.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience in ETL design and development.

5+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL.

5+ years of database experience utilizing SSIS and T-SQL.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Microsoft Business Intelligence certification(s).
