Position Summary:
Brief Overview:
An accomplished ETL Developer specializing in Informatica with over 10 years of extensive experience in designing, developing, testing, and managing Informatica PowerCenter workflows and mappings.

Detailed Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for this role include:
1. Designing data mappings and workflows utilizing Informatica PowerCenter to efficiently extract, transform, and load data into designated environments (including batch files and databases).
2. Creating comprehensive technical design documentation and formulating test plans for ETL unit and integration testing.
3. Collaborating with functional and integration teams to align on architecture and design.
4. Optimizing ETL batch jobs for enhanced performance and throughput.
5. Adhering to established Informatica workflow and mapping standards to ensure consistent development practices across all resources (emphasizing the reuse of components and avoiding hard coding).
6. Developing ETL workflows and mappings from Operational Data Store (ODS) to Data Warehouse using Informatica PowerCenter.
7. Providing development support and mentoring to junior developers.
8. Assisting in troubleshooting ETL batch job issues across various environments including production, PreProd, QA, and UAT.
9. Supporting infrastructure and development teams.
10. Experience with Informatica PowerCenter installation, administration, and configuration is advantageous.
11. Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter HTTP Adapter, JMS Adapter, and Web Services Hub is beneficial.

This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure project priorities are effectively met. This position is part of a significant project initiative.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
