About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and food products to our guests, while also assisting and learning management responsibilities from our Assistant General Manager and General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Ensure that every guest has a positive experience at our restaurant, providing prompt and courteous service, and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of food quality and safety, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and ensuring that all food products meet our quality standards.
  • Team Management: Assist and learn management responsibilities from our Assistant General Manager and General Manager, including scheduling, training, and performance management of team members.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and usage.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial management, including cash handling, sales tracking, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience: 1+ years previous supervisory experience in Fast Food or Retail preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location, with fluency in English may be essential for certain customer service stations within this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legally Authorized to Work: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
