Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Route Sales Representative to join our team. As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for servicing our grocery store customers, managing inventory, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a sales route that starts at our distribution center, visiting multiple grocery stores to restock and replenish inventory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely restocking of products
- Meet or exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue
- Collaborate with our merchandising team to ensure products are displayed effectively and attractively
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to enter and exit a commercial vehicle safely
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
