Job Title: Operations Manager

Boxzooka E Fulfillment LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at our Las Vegas distribution center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of temporary employees, including receiving packages, setting up racking, building totes, and organizing the building layout.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the organization's financial health and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, such as labor turnover rates, service level agreements, and unit productivity, and adjust resources accordingly.
  • Support the development and implementation of the eCommerce Distribution Center Business Plan, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment and operations while maintaining cost and quality efficiencies.
  • Oversee safety activities, including ensuring compliance with safety policies and conducting bi-annual safety training.
  • Improve the work environment and operations of the department and the organization.
  • Reinforce positive morale and uphold company values, while managing employee turnover rate.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and others about decisions affecting teamwork, process, resources, and other responsibilities.
  • Communicate with Account Management to gather feedback and improve processes and client service.
  • Manage a team of direct reports and provide facility leadership.
  • Help to recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, discipline, and develop staff while managing labor within expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehousing/distribution leadership role required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce.
Additional Requirements:
  • Bilingual with English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving your whole body.
