About the Role

The Operations Director is a key member of the NRI USA, LLC team, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse. This position requires a strong leader who can balance people and profit goals, ensuring client retention, financial health, staff development, and budgetary objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the overall performance of assigned facilities, meeting key performance indicators.
  • Maintains a perspective on operational goals and demands, prioritizing workloads accordingly.
  • Makes staffing, process, and facility changes to increase organizational efficiencies and meet client goals.
  • Creates and maintains meaningful relationships with clients and team members.
  • Determines project feasibility, considering costs, available space, schedule limitations, and organizational goals.
  • Ensures resource commitments for projects and acts as the sponsor for tactical execution.
  • Accountable for budget and P&L for assigned facilities.
  • Provides guidance to direct reports and trains, develops, and mentors them.
  • Participates in performance review process and approves wage increases.
  • Plans and coordinates annual vacations for supervisors, ensuring proper coverage.
  • Works with the leadership team to drive continual improvement programs.
  • Ensures all projects include a sustainability component and drives adherence at multiple levels.
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, client specifications, and design changes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Performs cost/benefit trade-off analysis and develops ROI business cases for recommended projects.
  • Drives refinement of labor planning tools to optimize resource allocation across locations and clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a relevant leadership role.
  • Relevant experience working for a 3PL company or an apparel and/or footwear company in a pick and pack environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety is required.
  • This position requires a valid driver's license.
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
