We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Account Manager to join our team at Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for positioning and selling Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS services to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) mission.
Responsibilities- Position and sell Oracle Cloud solutions to NRO customers
- Couple Oracle's value and differentiators with your NRO domain experience to position solutions that enable and enhance the NRO's mission
- Manage prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales client satisfaction
- Build and expand business partnerships and system integrator relationships
- Work with a cross-functional team to identify, qualify, and capture Oracle Cloud opportunities
- 5-7 years of field sales experience in the National Security field, preferably with the NRO
- Ability to accurately forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business
- Business development, prospecting, and presentation skills, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and territory/account development
- Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors is helpful
- Ability and willingness to rapidly learn Oracle Cloud technology
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with Poly
