Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Northtowns Ambulatory Surgery Center, LLC. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Register patients, collect co-pays, and prepare patient receipts. Confirm demographic and insurance information and update the system accordingly.
  • Chart Management: Maintain charts in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Ensure that every chart form has a label with complete information.
  • Communication: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform billing and clerical duties, prepare new charts, and maintain the waiting room.
  • Computer Systems: Demonstrate knowledge and skill in using our computer system for documentation, charging, and list reports.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Medical receptionist experience preferred.
  • Skills: Good typing skills, good communication skills, and good computer skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to sit/stand for a considerable amount of time, walk, and perform occasional overhead and low reaching. The work environment is well-lit and ventilated, with non-hazardous and hazardous equipment.
