POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Lemon Law Program, including arbitration processes and applicant evaluations
  • Provide expert automotive knowledge and conduct thorough audits of dealership records
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to arbitration cases
  • Negotiate resolutions for disputes between consumers and manufacturers
  • Review automotive service records for both domestic and international vehicles
  • Act as a technical expert during arbitration hearings
  • Evaluate manufacturer policies to ensure adherence to dealership standards
  • Test drive vehicles to assess performance and safety issues
  • Engage with consumers seeking assistance through the Lemon Law arbitration program
  • Collaborate with state agencies, auto dealers, and manufacturers
  • Support enforcement actions in partnership with legal representatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
