Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless registration, and delivering personalized service to all guests, colleagues, and property visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring accurate information, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and proper credit is received.
  • Program Promotion: Promote and sell special hotel programs, staying up-to-date on ongoing discounts, packages, and promotions, as well as any rules, restrictions, and routing.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Interact with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments when needed and able.
  • Emergency Procedures: Maintain knowledge of all emergency procedures and resort policies.
  • House Bank Management: Maintain a house bank, including a daily count and safekeeping at all times.
  • Communication: Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office management team and other associates.
  • Procedural Adherence: Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, refunds, gift cards, credit card authorizations, and charges.
  • Guest Feedback and Resolution: Solicit guest feedback and respond empathetically and appropriately to guest issues and complaints.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a customer service industry.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and communication skills, computer proficiency, and a pleasant telephone and in-person demeanor.
