Front Desk Agent Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Guest Communication: Listen attentively to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Account Management: Set up accurate guest accounts, manage room assignments, and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Room Blocking and Key Management: Block rooms in the computer, prepare key packets, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
  • Guest Requests and Issues: Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues, and document all interactions for follow-up.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems and ability to accurately input information.
  • Customer Service: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve guest satisfaction.
