Equity Office Faculty Coordinator

Role Responsibilities:
The Faculty Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and execution of anti-racist and anti-oppressive training programs.
- Coordinating equity-focused events and workshops that emphasize cultural humility and responsiveness.
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to create equitable online learning resources.
- Facilitating professional development workshops that enhance understanding of equity issues.
- Supporting the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty and staff.
- Engaging in critical conversations to address equity gaps within the campus community.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of cultural diversity and equity issues.
- Experience in transformative organizational change related to diversity and social justice.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Creativity and initiative in implementing equity-based practices.
Working Environment:
The position is primarily based in an indoor office setting, requiring regular interaction with faculty, staff, and students. Candidates should be prepared to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including standing, walking, and lifting light objects.
