Role Responsibilities:
The Faculty Coordinator will be pivotal in implementing Student Equity & Achievement goals and the Equity Plan through an equity-focused lens. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and facilitating anti-racist and anti-oppressive training programs.
- Coordinating workshops and events that promote cultural humility and responsiveness.
- Developing professional development opportunities centered on equitable practices.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to create inclusive curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Supporting the recruitment and retention of diverse faculty and staff.
- Facilitating critical conversations to address equity gaps.
- Conducting assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of equity initiatives.
