Job Title: Territory Manager

NTN Bearing Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team in the Pacific Northwest region. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a defined territory, consisting of NTN Authorized Distributors, and driving engagement and relationships with key end-user customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow distributor relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Utilize a solution-based sales approach to educate distributors and end-users on industry best practices and showcase NTN's value-added selling and cost-saving solutions.
  • Consistently identify and pursue new sales opportunities that align with NTN's sales strategy and drive them through the sales funnel stages.
  • Effectively document and monitor sales opportunities in Salesforce to ensure proper tracking and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applications Engineers, Field Engineers, Customer Relations Advocates, and Corporate Accounts, to drive the growth of our Industrial Aftermarket distributor channel.
  • Articulate NTN's value propositions to key personnel responsible for plant operations and safety, as well as formally present to key purchasing personnel when required.
  • Analyze sales data using business intelligence tools to prioritize time management and sales activities.
  • Conduct daily sales calls with distributors and end-users to maintain a strong market presence in the territory.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in customer sales interactions and industrial knowledge.
  • Competent knowledge of the Power and Transmission industry, with a focus on NTN's servicing industries: Food & Beverage, Paper & Pulp, Steel, Packaging, Agriculture, Construction, and Electric Motor.
  • Highly driven and motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed and achieve expected sales results.
  • Ability to travel daily within the territory, with 50% overnights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
