Position Overview:

The Senior Water Resource Project Coordinator will lead the assessment and technical documentation for water resource management initiatives focused on water supply, demand forecasting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive water demand assessments and supply reliability evaluations.
  • Utilize surface and groundwater modeling techniques for project development.
  • Engage in project conceptualization and cost analysis.
  • Evaluate environmental impacts and promote climate resilience strategies.
  • Facilitate client and stakeholder collaboration throughout project lifecycles.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while also managing teams of skilled professionals. This role necessitates a high level of client engagement and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Business Development:

In addition to project management, the position involves activities related to business growth, including client relations, proposal development, and marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in surface water and/or groundwater modeling, data interpretation, and project budgeting.
  • Exceptional writing and collaborative skills, coupled with experience in managing diverse teams.
  • Track record of overseeing projects of varying scales, maintaining timelines, and managing financials.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with virtual teams across different regions.
  • Professional engineer registration or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with water supply stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with integrated water resource management principles, including the holistic management of water, wastewater, and stormwater.
  • Experience in climate resilience planning concerning current and future water supply availability.
  • Knowledge of state and regional water planning processes.
  • Ability to apply programming and data management skills to solve technical challenges.
  • Experience with water rights analysis and modeling.
