Position Overview

As a Senior IT Project Coordinator at TEL, you will be instrumental in managing and executing intricate IT projects. Your role will involve collaboration with diverse teams, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring the effective delivery of IT solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Strategy and Implementation:
    • Craft comprehensive project plans detailing scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource distribution.
    • Synchronize project activities to align with organizational objectives and technical specifications from initiation to completion.
    • Track progress, identify potential risks, and deploy mitigation strategies.
  • Communication with Stakeholders:
    • Serve as a bridge between IT, sales, system engineering, product development, and other departments.
    • Provide updates on project status, developments, and possible challenges in our tracking systems and to stakeholders.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain clear documentation.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Collaborate with IT teams to devise and implement solutions that enhance IT requests and software performance.
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and security protocols.
    • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is advantageous.
    • Experience in IT Facilities Project Management, Software/Environment Security Project Management, or Software Security is a plus.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Effectively allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
    • Work closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
    • Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish and uphold quality standards for IT deliverables.
    • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of software and hardware solutions.
    • Ensure our solutions are secure and mitigate any vulnerabilities in our systems.
    • Address issues promptly to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Change Management:
    • Implement change control processes to minimize disruptions.
    • Guide teams through transitions and ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.
    • Proactively manage scope changes to adhere to schedule and budget constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
    • Share best practices with IT project managers across the organization.
    • Experience in coaching or training other project managers is a bonus.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in IT or Software Development.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Workday, Jira, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
