Senior Manager, Hospitality Operations Specialist

LA28 is seeking a Senior Manager, Hospitality Operations to lead the development and execution of hospitality operations for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. This role will be responsible for overseeing all operational and event production planning, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving commercial success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive hospitality business plan, including operational readiness and delivery plans for hospitality across all venues.
- Collaborate with key LA28 functional areas and On Location to identify and deliver key assets for the hospitality program, supporting commercial and operational needs.
- Oversee the development of hospitality space agreements, driving consensus on cost and responsibility matrices.
- Support the development of go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish close working relationships with key operational functional areas, such as Security and Transportation, to ensure revenue maximization while supporting the overall Games operational and strategic plan.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with 4 years of leadership experience in the sport or live event industry.
- Games experience preferred.
- Event production experience and/or venue management experience preferred.
- Proven experience with event hospitality and ticketing.
- Impeccable customer-service attitude, even when under pressure.
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationships.
- Experience working with senior executives across multiple functional areas.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of people development and engagement.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), including experience prioritizing accessibility principles in strategy development.
- Experience leveraging creativity and innovation to create unparalleled event experiences for diverse groups of stakeholders and attendees.
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Self-starter with experience in defining tasks, seeking feedback, and evolving work where applicable.
- Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.
- Fluent working with Office suite products, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent work experience.

The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.
