Overview:

As a key player in our organization, you will provide essential support to both current and potential clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with business banking representatives and mortgage specialists to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

Your role will involve acting as a crucial link between various internal departments to facilitate the efficient processing of loan documentation and the management of loan portfolios.

You will oversee the processing of loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. This includes managing the clearance of overdue documents and coordinating loan closings.

Engaging directly with clients, both in-person and via phone, you will foster strong relationships, assess service improvements, and identify potential sales opportunities. You will also organize pre-call and post-call strategy sessions with relevant stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will extend to selling, documenting, and coordinating the implementation of complex financial products. In partnership with business development teams, you will proactively seek out new prospects.

Additionally, you will compile and present statistical performance data to senior management, highlighting key metrics such as portfolio delinquencies, collections, and recoveries.

Monitoring loan activity will be a critical aspect of your role, and you will take necessary actions to address any issues that arise.

Ensuring timely and effective customer service will be paramount. You will provide support to business development teams to resolve account-related challenges and handle a variety of customer inquiries.

Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of assigned customer accounts, including services and financial relationships, will be essential. You will assist with deposit services for business banking clients, manage account openings and closures, and oversee overdraft controls.

In addition, you will maintain credit files and process requests related to research, corrections, loan payments, and wire transfers.

There may be opportunities for you to provide guidance and training to customer service teams within your area.

Staying informed about product offerings, internal policies, and relevant regulations will be necessary to effectively support your responsibilities.

Compliance with operational risk controls and company standards will be a critical aspect of your role, as will promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Scope of Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for all follow-up and support activities that enable business development representatives to concentrate on sales generation rather than administrative tasks.

Independently initiating actions and employing sound judgment to resolve issues and anticipate customer needs will be key to your success.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Required:

A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of four years of relevant service experience, or alternatively, a combination of eight years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least four years in a service role.

Three years of experience in retail, commercial, or corporate credit loan processing is essential.

Proficiency in personal computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, is required.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Familiarity with banking policies, procedures, and regulations is necessary, along with knowledge of courthouse and state filings.

Understanding financial statements and loan documentation will be advantageous.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.

Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on tact and diplomacy, are required.

Sales acumen will be beneficial.
