We are looking for a Professional Land Survey Manager to enhance our operations in a key managerial role.
Position Summary:
This role encompasses a range of supervisory and technical responsibilities within the land surveying domain. The selected candidate will leverage modern technology, extensive survey expertise, and prior experience to oversee diverse survey initiatives essential for the planning, design, and construction of various projects such as roads, structures, geotechnical assessments, flood control systems, and recreational facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead survey projects while maintaining effective communication with clients.
- Supervise multiple survey teams and provide essential technical guidance.
- Conduct complex tasks including the preparation of deed mosaics and the evaluation of right-of-way plans, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and construction stakeout.
- Manage project budgets and timelines efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate quality assurance and quality control standards.
- Identify new business opportunities and demonstrate strong technical writing skills.
- Make recommendations for the recruitment of survey personnel.
- Foster team development and mentor junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the state of MA.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience with a PLS license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Civil3D, MicroStation, and Carlson Survey is preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
This position may require a pre-employment drug screening and background verification.
