About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our Integration Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the adaptation of multiple vendor subsystems to comply with the Modular Active Protection Systems (APS) Framework (MAF).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Integration Efforts: Collaborate with subsystem vendors to ensure seamless integration of their systems with the APS Framework.
  • Develop and Maintain Engineering Artifacts: Create and update systems engineering artifacts, such as system design documents, interface control documents, and test plans, to support the integration effort.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical guidance and support to the client and subsystem vendors to ensure successful integration and adaptation of their systems.
  • System Modeling and Design: Develop and maintain system-level design products, including block diagrams, interface diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams, to support the integration effort.
  • Evaluation and Testing: Support the evaluation of subsystems to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are compatible with the APS Framework.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in systems integration and design, with a focus on adapting legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including systems design, integration, and testing. Proficiency in drawing tools, such as Micro soft Visio, and experience with the MagicDraw modeling tool suite.
  • Clearance: Secret clearance required.
