Automation Control Specialist

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering and design for control systems utilizing established methodologies and practices.
  • Design and detail electrical control panels.
  • Develop and modify PLC software (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix).
  • Update and input programmable operator interface software.
  • Oversee the startup and troubleshooting of control systems for various tools and equipment.
  • Offer technical assistance during the installation of tools and equipment.
  • Provide training support for client personnel.
  • Maintain a professional company image in all interactions with clients.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Opportunity for long-term assignments to address facility-related challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expertise in control system engineering and design using standardized practices.
  • Experience in detailing and designing electrical control panels.
  • Proficiency in writing and editing PLC software (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix).
  • Skills in editing and entering programmable operator interface software.
  • Experience in the startup and debugging of control systems for tools and equipment.
  • Ability to provide technical support for installation processes.
  • Experience in training client personnel.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor in all client interactions.
  • GCCH and GCCS certifications may be required for certain clients, with support for obtaining certifications if necessary.
  • Experience with Ford systems is advantageous.
