Key Responsibilities:

 Demonstrated expertise in comprehending project requirements, including leading and executing quantity takeoffs, statistical evaluations, and cost assessments. Proficient in grasping technical discipline methodologies and possessing extensive knowledge of engineering and construction regulations.

 Establish and nurture relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure pricing for materials and labor as necessary.

 Conduct thorough cost evaluations for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor services, and overhead expenses associated with project implementation.

 Liaise with the proposal team regarding any discrepancies or omissions identified in quotes or contractual items.

 Analyze owner plans and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the project; devise a construction plan that serves as the foundation for the estimate.

 Scrutinize all bidding and contract documents in collaboration with the legal department.

 Perform site assessments prior to developing an operational strategy to identify any potential issues or unusual conditions.

 Create and maintain a historical database encompassing geographical data, labor rates, union specifics, installation costs, equipment and material pricing, as well as contingency and escalation factors.

 Well-versed in diverse estimating techniques, methodologies, and procedures, along with a comprehensive understanding of estimate classifications and components.

 In-depth knowledge of market pricing and pricing sources relevant to the area of expertise.

 Extensive experience in EPC and construction estimating practices and methodologies.

 Familiarity with commercial terms and conditions, including contractor relationships, currency fluctuations, taxation, inflation, and insurance considerations.

 Insight into project cash flows and the associated time value of money concerning working capital costs.

 Skilled in developing and implementing risk models to identify project risks, recommending and establishing contingency amounts, and leading risk/contingency development workshops.

 Willingness to travel up to 20%.
