Position Title: Project Cost Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive phases of Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Front-End Loading (FEL) estimates, ranging from conceptual stages to implementation.
  • Ensure precision in Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimates.
  • Define and scope potential projects while formulating man-hour estimates during the proposal phase.
  • Utilize advanced estimating methodologies and analyses across disciplines to refine the overall project estimate.
  • Coordinate and acquire budgetary quotes from vendors, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Draft estimate plans, review the scope of work, compile and assess estimate data, and prepare estimate basis documents that include qualifications and assumptions.
  • Adapt to client expectations and requirements regarding project estimating.
  • Collaborate with project team members from various disciplines to ensure all design elements are incorporated into the project TIC estimate.
  • Effectively communicate with project management, client representatives, and third-party consultants as necessary.
  • Engage in estimate reviews and presentations with management, project team members, and client representatives.
  • Verify material pricing bi-annually with local vendors to maintain accurate TIC estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in Aspen Capital and In-Plant Cost Estimator software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
