Position Title: Project Cost Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive phases of Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Front-End Loading (FEL) Estimates, ranging from conceptual stages to implementation.
  • Ensure precision in Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimates.
  • Identify and define potential projects, developing man-hour estimates during the proposal phase.
  • Utilize advanced estimating methodologies and analyses across various disciplines to refine the overall project estimate.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain budgetary quotations and assess them for project compliance.
  • Draft estimate plans, evaluate scope of work, compile and review estimate data, and create estimate basis documents that include qualifications and assumptions.
  • Adapt to client expectations and requirements concerning project estimating.
  • Engage with project team members from all disciplines to ensure comprehensive coverage of design aspects in the project TIC estimate.
  • Effectively communicate with project management, client representatives, and third-party consultants as necessary.
  • Participate in estimate reviews and presentations with management, project team members, and client representatives.
  • Conduct bi-annual verification of material pricing with local vendors to maintain accurate TIC estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience with Aspen Capital and In-Plant Cost Estimator software, though not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
