- Growth Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities for the department, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options.
- Performance Metrics: Generate and analyze monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals and objectives.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Team Development: Foster a productive and positive work environment within the department, providing ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Additional Responsibilities: Participate in annual staff evaluations, contribute to the hiring and training of new team members, and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the role.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success.
- Licenses and Certifications: An active P & C License, with proficiency in Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
- Skills: Self-motivation, strong sense of accountability, exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Education: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
