Job Summary

The Public Relations and Marketing Specialist will assist with public and donor relations activities, supporting the agency in all external and internal communications efforts. This includes research and writing grants to support the agency and other requested support for the Fund Development and Special Events Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with public and donor relations activities, including research and writing grants.
  • Support the agency in all external and internal communications efforts.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the agency's mission and services.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Public Relations & Marketing to achieve marketing and communications goals.
  • Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations/marketing preferred.
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communications.
  • Fluency in desktop publishing programs and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in Canva or design software preferred.
  • Experience in eTapestry/Blackbaud, Give Smart and/or other special event software preferred.
