Position Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Onsite
Contract Duration: 4 months
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in IT Desktop Support
- Proficient in assisting end users, performing basic hardware diagnostics, and managing ticketing systems, along with imaging experience using SCCM, Autopilot, and Active Directory
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a knack for problem-solving during customer interactions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare sector
- Familiarity with enterID, Azure, and Intune
Daily Responsibilities:
The organization is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist with a Windows 11 upgrade initiative. The selected candidate will engage directly with hardware troubleshooting, interact with end users, manage the ticketing system, and document issues effectively. This role involves overseeing end users while executing PC, laptop, and software upgrades. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in software and hardware installations, configuring Windows PC systems, and providing advanced troubleshooting support. Responsibilities include managing deployment and disposal processes by tracking inventory and assets, as well as installing and configuring systems. The technician is expected to refresh a significant number of machines weekly, ensuring a smooth transition to the new Windows 11 workstations. Strong communication skills are crucial for success in this role, given the customer service aspect involved.
