Role Overview

The IT Support Specialist is tasked with delivering technical assistance for GFI Software products to end users through multiple communication methods. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, possess prior experience in technical support, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold a high-quality, professional, service-oriented image among both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support via phone in an inbound support center.
  • Engage in follow-up, testing, and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Keep users informed about the status and resolution of their issues.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; proactively reach out to users to confirm that solutions are effective and that they are satisfied.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partner teams (Product Specialists, Security Response, Sales).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of Active Directory.
  • Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with various operating systems and servers.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Technical Support or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in an antivirus or anti-malware environment is advantageous.
