Job Summary:

The Headford Group is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Managing Director to lead our clients office in the Los Angeles area. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization and take on a leadership role in our regional operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage all aspects of our regional operations in the LA area, focusing on logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and profitability goals, leveraging your expertise in logistics and operations.
  • Financial Management: Ensure effective financial management, budgeting, and cost control measures are in place, driving business efficiency and profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and staff to achieve high performance and operational excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, driving business growth and retention.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage operational risks effectively, maintaining a strong reputation for the organization.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement, ensuring data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, with exposure to managing regional or divisional operations, and a proven track record of success.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, driving business objectives and achieving results.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive growth and profitability, and a deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting, with the ability to drive business efficiency and profitability.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Location: Must be based in the Los Angeles area or willing to relocate.
