Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management
    • Understand and execute all affordable programs at assigned properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve program performance and increase resident satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Supervise and develop on-site personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve employee performance.
  • Marketing and Leasing
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and increase occupancy rates.
    • Review rental applications and lease documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintenance and Operations
    • Inspect properties regularly to identify safety hazards and needed repairs, ensuring that maintenance staff are aware of and address these issues promptly.
    • Monitor preventative maintenance work and resident service requests to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage budgets to achieve financial goals and increase revenue.
    • Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum five consecutive years of experience in property management or a related field, with at least three years of experience overseeing 5 or more properties.
  • Direct experience in LIHTC and other affordable programs.
  • Valid driver's license, operational vehicle, and valid automobile insurance.
  • Active real estate salesperson license in good standing.
  • Computer literate, specifically MS Word, Excel (advanced level preferred), and Outlook for Windows.
  • Knowledge of Yardi Residential preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience supervising others, preferably on-site.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable decision-maker with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders if necessary.
  • Flexibility to work after-hours in emergency situations.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned portfolio of properties on a weekly basis.
Additional Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $130,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
