Job Description

NETZSCH United States is a leading global specialist in complex fluid management, with a strong focus on employee well-being and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work as an Industrial Regional Sales Manager. This strategic role is responsible for managing sales activities in the assigned territory, reporting to the Industrial Sales Director.

The ideal candidate will live in the western region of the US, preferably in or near a major city in California, and will drive the Industrial business in the region with the ultimate goal of increasing market share penetration at profitable levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical and Commercial Support: Provide technical and commercial support to distributors in the Industrial market.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Sell NETZSCH pumps, grinders, and spare parts and service to meet or exceed region sales revenue plan as established by the Industrial Director and NETZSCH Pumps management.
  • Business Development: Research, analyze, and recommend new sales partners (primary or niche) for the region when necessary.
  • Training and Development: Provide required training to sales partner's staff on products, applications, competition, commercial issues, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Make joint sales calls with sales partners or service personnel to build relationships with key customers in the region.
  • Industry Representation: Represent NETZSCH at trade shows and industry events.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide the Company with market trends, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence. Participate in marketing activities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Industrial Sales Experience: Previous experience selling industrial equipment, preferably pumps.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Solid negotiation skills, including the ability to communicate, persuade, strategize, and cooperate.
  • Results-Driven: Must be driven to achieve results, with the ability to develop Regional Strategy Plans, including specific roadmaps to reach established sales and profitability goals in the assigned region.
  • Independence and Organization: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to execute projects on time.
  • Business and Technical Acumen: The ability to have related business and technical discussions, as well as the ability to speak in front of groups.
  • Travel and Remote Work: A valid driver's license and current passport, with the ability to travel up to 70% as required to achieve sales goals, and the ability to work remotely from a home office when not traveling.
