Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a key member of Fazio Mechanical Services Inc., the Refrigeration Service Specialist will be responsible for executing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on refrigeration systems. This role involves working autonomously while ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration systems, including electrical, mechanical, and microprocessor controls.
  • Perform routine service calls and leak detection procedures to uphold operational efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure the service vehicle is organized and well-maintained.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • EPA Certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration and freezer systems.
  • Familiarity with Novar, CPC, Danfoss Energy Management Controls, and Rack Refrigeration is essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, and lift/move items up to 75 pounds; moderate noise levels are expected.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in HVAC systems.
