Interco is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its Commercial Operations division. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, making phone calls, and scheduling video conference meetings with Fortune 500 companies. You will interact with clients, process and analyze information, and communicate feedback and market information. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, able to work in a team environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

The Business Development Representative will be evaluated on work ethic, attention to detail, and quality of leads produced. This position can lead to a full-time role as a Business Development Representative. The selected candidate will have the potential to attain commercial and financial success.

Key qualifications include:

  • Ability to follow a script to make prospecting phone calls
  • Skilled at taking precise notes and gleaning insight from conversations
  • Capacity to follow instructions and ask questions when necessary
  • Talented communicator - experience in sales a plus
  • Competence writing clearly and concisely

The role of a Business Development Representative offers an opportunity to acquire essential training and firsthand experience in sales and procurement. The best BDR interns may transition to the position of Business Development Representative at Interco.
