Job Summary

The Lead Program Facilitator is responsible for delivering and overseeing the implementation of the virtual exchange program for university students in the four regions. This role involves leading workshops, guiding discussions, supporting student collaboration, and fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Implementation: Lead the recruitment process of participants in the region, coordinate and oversee the execution of the virtual exchange program, monitor progress, and provide weekly updates to the Program Supervisor.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support facilitators, engage with participants, and provide guidance and support throughout the program.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Collect data to assess participant progress and program impact, prepare and submit monthly reports to the program supervisor, and collect student feedback.
  • Logistics and Administration: Manage program logistics, ensure accessibility of materials and resources, and moderate Discord channels and bots related to the program.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

  • Previous experience as a Digital Facilitator for World Learning Youth Programs, degree in Education, STEAM fields, or a related discipline, and experience in teaching, training, or facilitating workshops.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and motivate students from diverse cultural backgrounds, and knowledge of the local context and cultural sensitivities in the region.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language(s) of the region, familiarity with STEAM education and virtual learning platforms, and effective communication and presentation skills.
